Mr. Jackson served as Vice President-Investments for a large mortgage banking firm which was acquired in 1977 by SouthTrust Bank. He participated in several hotel developments, along with other types of real estate development during that time. He has also directed the operations of a family-owned hotel since 1965.
He founded JHS (Originally known as Jackson Motel Management Co. Inc.) in 1977, with two hotels under management contracts. He has syndicated new hotels, supervised the development process, operated and sold properties on behalf of ownership. During 1989, he began a new chain of small rural inns named Key West Inns, and serves as Chairman and CEO of the parent company.
Mr. Jackson continues to lead JHS with integrity, ambition, and with a seasoned understanding of how to develop and operate successful hotels.

Mr. Jackson joined the firm after receiving a degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. He has assisted and/or directed the opening of one restaurant and over a dozen hotels in the past 17 years.
As President of Jackson Hospitality Services, Inc., his duties include all new construction and renovations projects. He also oversees the new accounting software, "Great Plains" by Microsoft (installed May 2006).
Mr. Jackson has served as the Chairman of the American Hotel and Lodging Association Council of Inns and Suites.

Mr. Jackson joined JHS in 1989, after obtaining a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama. During his collegiate years, he worked in several hotel positions. After joining JHS, he served as a Sales Manager for The Pickwick Hotel before he became involved with property development and operations of the Key West Inns.
Mr. Jackson also serves as a President for Key West Inns, Inc. Mr. Jackson has specific experience with Choice properties and serves on the board of the International Operating Committee for Choice Hotels for Region 2.
Upon graduation from the University of Alabama in Hotel Administration, Mr. Koopman first joined JHS in 1994 as Front Office Manager at the Sheraton Perimeter Hotel. From there he was promoted to General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Pelham, Alabama.
After management experience with La Quinta Inns and Marriott International, Mr. Koopman rejoined JHS as General Manager and was recently promoted to Director of Operations.
Mr. Koopman serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Birmingham Lodging Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Robinson joined the Key West Inn team in 2006 as the chain's first Franchisee Success Coach. In 2007, Brian was promoted to Key West Inn Brand Manager and oversees all aspects of the chain. In addition to those duties, Brian also assists JHS in revenue management, and developing purchasing programs for the managed hotels.
Brian brings vast hotel operations and sales experienced to both JHS and Key West Inns.
